Any tips on making my big boy synth sound like a Mickey Mouse keyboard? Asking for a friend.
Tell your friend to just keep playing it like he normally would. That should do the trick.
@@soaringtortoise 😄
I got one of them things
Apparently I do too. Thanks for watching.
Sounds like a massage parlor with a bad speaker
This is one of the best descriptive comments I have read in a while. Thank you for listening.

🙏
i love how this possibly made a tutorial for those who are trying to recreate james ferraro and spencer clark's music that they made from 2003-2011, amazing piece of work man
Thank you very much for watching. If someone learns something from this video I will be very pleased.
“Let’s run king tut’s sarcophagus through a decontamination process “ - said the security guard and his friend.
Jazz for mummies.
“I think we might have found something” - was the last thing we heard from the submersible.
It was just a malfunctioning radio. They surfaced near Tahiti. everyone's OK.
You come up with the coolest stuff! Much love man...
Thank you. Really glad you like it.
Holy cow that was beautiful! Feels like a rebel runaway track jumped out of Jack Nietche’s ‘Cuckoos Nest’ score. 👍
Thank you very much for your kind comment and for listening.🙏
Could you please improve the SQ? Thanks!
I think it's really nice that you said "please". Thanks for that, and thanks for listening.
Love the waves in a hole effect
Me too. That is the DIY tape delay loop degrading into an almost white noise. Thanks for listening.
Whenever you play , I feel like playing too ! I love it ! 🙂
Please do! Thanks so much for watching.
The xylophone never sounded so good!!
Thanks. These particular ones have very lovely tone and sustain.
@@soaringtortoise Agreed! Keep finding those wonderful sound variants

Lovely
🙏 Thank you.

Another great soundscape. Always entertaining.
Thank you. Really glad you liked it.
Anazing composition. Do you have recordings available somewhere, I’d love to get a copy.
Thanks you. As of yet I don't have any physical recorded media available. If I ever do it will probably be to cassette tape. In the mean time, I post content on UA-cam at least twice a week so please feel free to subscribe or even become a member of my channel.
As always, thank you for the sounds
You're welcome. As always, thanks for listening.
like swimming alone at night and then leaving the water to find another heartbeat to connect with in the grass nearby
Thanks for that lovely visual and thanks for watching.
The pitch-wobble on the DIY delay is magical.
Thank you. It is one of my favorite things about the device.
Gorgeous
🙏 Many thanks.
Noice!
Thanks, so are you.
I clicked for the video title (I enjoy wordplay). I liked for the gear/jam space (I enjoy making music with fun and funky instruments). I subbed for the final product (I enjoy good music).
Thank you for clicking. Thank you for liking. Thank you for subbing. Most importantly, thank you for listening.🙏
Lovely as usual.
🙏 Thank you kindly.
Heartwarming Good. Thank You
You're welcome. Thank you for watching.
It is always good to start my day with a little bit backwards…
I wish I could do that. Backwards myself right back into bed.
I found your account about a week ago the overwhelming feeling of melodies and their construction, each sound in its place. but what struck me more was that I seemed to feel this atmosphere and energy very well since I almost never leave the house and start every day with musical improvisation. thanks
You're welcome. Thank you for listening and for your kind words. Sometimes, with musical improvisation, you can leave the house without having to leave the house.

Wish my boss rc-1 had that setting.
I think you can do this with some of the newer generation DAW-in-a-box loopers. Cool if you've got an extra 600 bucks lying around and don't mind the pedal having all the fun.
@soaringtortoise too complicated for me, personally. I'll just have to be happy looping regular reverse delay at regular speed. Very much enjoyed this track, john.
Lovely, really nice. 😊
🙏
What can i say.... Wonderful, love what your doing. Keep up the good sounds maestro. 😊
Thank you very much. What you said was perfect, very kind.
I’ve had a similar idea for a backwards reverse fugue-type performance since I was a teenager and it is neat to see someone do it.
A couple tape recorders and fugue and you're in business. Thanks for watching.
@@soaringtortoise I was young so I was envisioning oversized Willy wonka lollipop tape reels and the spiral optical illusion, with a melody played half speed reverse for a mirrored performance. Very artsy 😆 Champagne dreams on a beer budget though. It stayed a dream. I can do it digitally now, but your way is cooler.
fantastic as usual!
🙏 Many thanks.
The sound of Apppalachia swirling round the rim of a black hole. Keep bending my mind and ears. Thanks Mr Tortoise.

Amazing! Any tips on repairing very wobbly black keys in the SK-1?
Thank you. Sadly, all the black keys are molded in one piece (as are the white keys) so, to do the job right, you will have to replace the whole set. I had to do it to mine. I was lucky enough to be gifted a non-functional donor SK-1.
Well that was a pleasant and reflective journey. Thankyou.
You're welcome. Thank you for watching.
